USSEC Unified Export Strategy (UES) - 19 Review and Approval Meeting

Meeting - The meeting itself starts promptly at 12noon with lunch and guest speaker - please arrive by 11.45am. Meeting concludes at 6.00pm. This will then be followed by a dinner which will conclude at 8 pm. Agenda to follow.

However will include an update on current market conditions, challenges and opportunities around the world and USSEC’s proposed programs designed to continue to build a preference and differentiate U.S. soy. USSEC will seek the approval of ASA’s TPIA committee and USB’s leadership of its plan of work, consisting of high-level programs for Fiscal 2019. Attendees are invited to ask questions and provide feedback to ensure understanding and a consensus for the plan of work.

Dress code - The dress code for the meeting is business attire.

Lodging - Due to high demand at the hotel lodging will only be arranged for the USSEC Board Members and staff only. A few of the nearest hotels are Residence Inn Arlington Pentagon City, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC-Crystal City, Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel.

Transportation - The hotel is located 3.8 miles from the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The hotel does not have a shuttle but taxis are available from outside departures.

Parking - For those driving the hotel offers parking which is currently $39 per day.

Please note this event is free of charge to USSEC Board & staff members. Other organizations will be invoiced for any meeting costs such as catering after the event. Any cancellations of meals must be made 1 week prior - March 5, 2018.
